Decimal Currency Conversion Table

In old money the pound was divided by 240, this was replaced with a new decimal currency in February 1971 with the pound being divided by 100, in the conversion table the old currency read as, ie s. d. s. d. 2. 5. this was also written as:

2/5:-- 12p new pence. 15. 9 this was also written as 15/9:-- 79 new pence 25. 3 this was written as £1.5s.3d:-- £1.26:-- £1 pound & 26 new pence.
